Mashed Potatoes
Also known as mashed taters
Ingredients
- 4 large Russet potatoes
- 1 Cup Heavy cream
- 1/2 stick Butter
- 2 Tbsp Pecorrino or Parmesan cheese or both
- 2 Cloves Garlic
- 1 Tbsp Oregano
- 3 Tbsp Parsley
- 1 Tbsp Basil
- 5 Tbsp Salt
- 2 Tbsp Pepper
Instructions
- Peel potatoes and chop into 4 equal width slices
- Boil water on high heat in large pot. Large enough to fit potatoes.
- When water has boiled, add potatoes. Cook for approximately 45 minutes or until potatoes are soft. Drain water from pot.
- Add butter and heavy cream to pot. Mash potatoes with potato masher or fork. Add additional cream for consistency of your choice.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
