Mashed Potatoes

Also known as mashed taters

Ingredients
  

  • 4 large Russet potatoes
  • 1 Cup Heavy cream
  • 1/2 stick Butter
  • 2 Tbsp Pecorrino or Parmesan cheese or both
  • 2 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 Tbsp Oregano
  • 3 Tbsp Parsley
  • 1 Tbsp Basil
  • 5 Tbsp Salt
  • 2 Tbsp Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Peel potatoes and chop into 4 equal width slices
  • Boil water on high heat in large pot. Large enough to fit potatoes.
  • When water has boiled, add potatoes. Cook for approximately 45 minutes or until potatoes are soft. Drain water from pot.
  • Add butter and heavy cream to pot. Mash potatoes with potato masher or fork. Add additional cream for consistency of your choice.
  • Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
